1. The GRE General Test is meant to measure a student’s readiness for graduate or business school.
2. The test is computer-based and “section-level adaptive”.
3. The GRE is composed of three scaled scores calculated from five scored sections:
- Two Analytical Writing essays (considered one section)
- Two Verbal Reasoning
- Two Quantitative Reasoning
(Note - There may also be an unidentified or identified unscored research section.)
